The character "maru" in Marutcha means circle in Japanese and is also an important symbol in Zen.
We have represented the "maru" of our shop's name in the form of a full moon. A mysterious moon, slightly veiled by clouds, long appreciated in Japan; it has inspired thousands of poems. We hope that the Swiss will be as sensitive to the beauty of tea as the Japanese are to that of the full moon.
